Coronavirus Statement from Pinksheep

We hope you and your family are keeping safe and well. Throughout the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our number one priority continues to be the health and wellbeing of our employees, while keeping our business running for our customers and suppliers.

However, the rapidly evolving COVID-19 crisis means we’re now seeing a significant drop in requirements for merchandise and print, events continue to be cancelled and many companies exercise caution amidst this uncertainty. From speaking with the BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association) and colleagues across the industry we are aware this is the case for many companies similar to ourselves.

We want to be clear that our team are currently working through this and we are still very much open for business. As we mentioned in a previous update, we are adhering to all government guidelines and all areas of our business are now working from home.

As a result of recent changes, we have now placed a number of our team into the UK Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (referred to as furlough) until at least the end of April. While these decisions are never easy, we hope it will give some team members more time to take care of their families as well as the opportunity to volunteer in their local communities, should they wish to do so.

All account managers that have been furloughed have attempted to contact their accounts where possible to inform them of this directly.

We are running a small team of highly experienced staff that are very well placed to handle any queries or enquiries you may have, and you can still contact us via all normal channels.

As a business we place a huge amount of value on our people and our customers, so we really appreciate your patience, support and understanding as we work through this. We will continue to keep you updated as things evolve, so let’s keep talking and working through solutions so we can all get through this together.
